I have a passion for history and genealogy, my philosophy being that in order to be adept at one discipline (genealogy) one must be well-versed in the other (history).

Just ONE MORE thing . . . . SPGS has recently taken a sizeable amount from its savings account in order to purchase a much-needed microfilm reader for the Genealogy Library. In an effort to help rebuild the savings account, Digging History will donate $5 for each subscription purchased between February 1 and March 31, 2025. Not only will you receive all the benefits outlined above, you’ll be helping SPGS rebuild our savings account and perhaps fund future projects.
