July was a busy month.  After wrapping up the latest issue of Digging History Magazine, featuring the Prairie State of Illinois, I tackled a number of client projects — genealogical research, writing family stories and designing family history charts.  Here are some examples.

Family Stories: The Fine Print

I’ve recently developed a new service to accompany the custom-designed family history charts.  I call it “The Fine Print” which tells the stories represented on these custom-designed charts (no two are alike!).  A name, date or newspaper clipping only tells part of the story.  This project is still ongoing, but here are a few page samples:

Custom-Designed Family History Charts

The latest custom-designed family history charts were part of a unique project, one which included documentation of birth parents as well as adoptive parents.  It was truly an honor to help document this family’s amazing history — from missionaries to numerous American patriots (including close relatives of the father of our country, George Washington) to a Salem witch.  By the way, these charts were designed for subscribers to Digging History Magazine making them eligible for a significant discount (20% off all services, including charts).
