Family History Chart Giveaway(s)

This year, in an effort to build the subscriber base of Digging History Magazine, I am pleased to offer a chance to win your very own custom-designed family history chart.  In honor of 2023 being the fifth anniversary of Digging History Magazine, I will give away a chart for every five new subscribers (I’ve never done this!).  You read that right — new subscribers have a 1 in 5 chance of winning a custom-designed family history chart!  Click here for samples of my portfolio (no two charts alike!).  Email Sharon if you have questions:  seh@digging-history.com.

Please note this giveaway is separate from the conference drawings described above, and geared towards building the subscriber base of Digging History Magazine.  Therefore, entries are tied to the purchase of a recurring subscription (Quarterly [$8]; Semi-Annual [$16]; Annual [$32]).   Entries for the conference giveaways or coupons are NOT included in the Family History Chart Giveaway.

Magazine samples and articles available here (download as many as you like):  https://digging-history.com/free-samples/.  Purchase the recurring subscription of your choice (before Saturday, November 18 at Noon CDT) by clicking here.

THERE’S MORE . . . . Purchasing a subscription also enters you into an ongoing Special Promotion AND grants you special benefits as a subscriber.  Details here.

What does all this mean?  This year I’m drawing to give away a chart for every five new subscriptions.  Even If you happen to not win, you are still entered in the ongoing Special Promotion.  One of these days you just might win!  Even those subscribers who never win a chart, still enjoy tremendous benefits — 20% off all services, including custom-designed family history charts.

Check this out . . . Here’s how to (still) get in line for an extra 5% off:

During 2023 I’ve offered an extra 5% off all services in honor of the fifth anniversary of Digging History Magazine.  If you’d like to take advantage of the extra 5% off for a family history chart, subscribe before the November 18, 2023 entry deadline.   That means just for purchasing a subscription during this promotion offered only to 2023 TxSGS attendees, you will receive 25% off all services (including charts) whenever you’re ready — even if it’s months from now!

NOTE:  Winners (Grand Prize or Special Promotion) must remain a subscriber until their chart is completed.  Cancellation will result in forfeiture of your prize.  And, I hope by the time your chart is finished you will still want to continue subscribing!  Most issues of the magazine run between 75-100+ pages of tips, articles and stories linking history and genealogy (well-documented and researched articles, no ads).  Here are some comments about Digging History Magazine:

  • Gobsmacked!  I’m completely blown away! The amount of research and history contained therein is astounding … I feel like I should earn some kind of college credit just from reading it!  I can’t imagine the amount of work that goes into each issue! You truly have inspired me to tackle, yet again, my last significant brick wall in my own genealogy . — Norma E.
  • Wow! I really enjoyed #1, part-way into #2. Amazing product.  Thanks! — Leslie R.
  • Love your magazine!!! – Kim T.
